I am, in connection with your opinion piece
Our View | Grow a spine, University of Alabama. Reinstate our magazines. – The Crimson White, forwarding to you the below email I sent to UA President Peter Mohler.
I believe the University of Alabama's spinelessness that your opinion piece is about is attributable to the power-crazed depredations of our January 6th lawbreaker president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
My email to President Mohler solicits him to avail of Professor Joyce Vance's new book Giving Up Is Unforgivable: A Manual for Keeping a Democracy, as a way for the University to be a venue for joinder of Alabama debate about Trump.
I solicit
The Crimson White to push for the University of Alabama to be a venue for joinder of Alabama debate about Trump.
Thank you for your attention to this.

Thank you, Dale.
What I wish to discuss with you on your show is whether you would be willing to participate as a debater in "Let Alabama debate Trump" (
Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Let Alabama debate Trump), whether your show could be a venue for such debate, and whether, with your connections, you could solicit others (e.g., Alabama's members of Congress, candidates for Alabama Attorney General, Jay Town) to be debaters.
I will call tomorrow. If you wish our discussion to go beyond the foregoing, that's fine with me.

Thank you, Dale.
Our discussion on your show has motivated me to more clearly lay out the need for honest debate about Trump in Alabama ("Let Alabama debate Trump "
Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Let Alabama debate Trump}, in the face of the impediments of people being afraid to be publicly honest about Trump and of the inability of people to agree about facts.
Again, thanks very much for your motivating me here, Dale.

Subject: Bruce Pearl's special forum and "Let Alabama debate Trump"
Dear College Republican Federation of Alabama:
This email is prompted by the special forum you hosted at the University of Alabama this past Thursday with Auburn Coach Bruce Pearl, discussing the relationship between the United States and Israel.
In your Facebook post, you expressed pride in CRFA Chairman Riley McArdle and the University of Alabama College Republicans "for leading real dialogue on issues that matter."
I think the issue that matters most in the United States today is the issue of Donald Trump, and that special forums should be held at all of Alabama's universities to discuss Donald Trump. I am making efforts to promote the same per "Let Alabama debate Trump" as set out at
Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Let Alabama debate Trump.
I have previously emailed University of Alabama President Mohler and the staff of The Crimson White about this. To advance the same at the University of Alabama from here, I am copying on this email the University of Alabama College Democrats, the University of Alabama College Republicans and the Alabama College Democrats.
Further, Coach Pearl being from Auburn, I am further availing of this email to urge particularly a special forum at Auburn to discuss Donald Trump, by copying on this email Auburn President Christopher Roberts, the College Democrats at Auburn University, and the Auburn University College Republicans, as well as members of The Auburn Plainsman staff, the Lee County Democrats and others whom I have previously emailed growing out of Auburn's termination of certain employees for offensive posts after Charlie Kirk's death. See
Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Alabama debates what Eric Trump says about his fatherFinally, Coach Pearl might be an excellent participant in one or more special forums discussing Donald Trump. I cannot find an email address for him, and I am copying Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen on this email, so that he might be so kind as to forward this email to Coach Pearl.
Thank you for your attention to this.
Sincerely,
Rob Shattuck
