Subject: Protecting the health of Americans against power-crazed Donald Trump
Dear Dr. Turner-Henson:
This email is prompted by the sharing you did on Sunday of information about the NIH situation, how losing research funding could impact UAB and the entire state of Alabama, and the desire for actions to bring awareness to the public of such issue that will affect everyone in the state and country.
I am sure you are also alarmed by other threats to the health of Americans that are presented by the power-crazed President of the United States Donald J. Trump, such as his nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for HHS Secretary and his firehose of executive orders.
I am trying to find a way to bring public pressure to bear on our Alabama lawmakers.
If you would, please read Be An Alabama Rootstriker* with Rob Shattuck: Letter to AL State Public Health Committee and tell whether you think the emailing I did had any effect on anyone or whether I wasted my time in what I did.
I am asking this because I am doing similar emailing currently in other areas and want other people to join with me in doing emailing, and for this there needs to be a belief that such emailing is doing or can do some good.
