I have never participated in a telephone calling campaign, and I have no sense of what kind of effectiveness your current action items will have for people to call Senators Tuberville and Britt and Representatives Palmer and Sewell.
I will try to disseminate information about your telephone calling campaign, first by posting this at The Final Battle against Donald J. Multiple Trump administration officials who worked closely with Patel say he is “profoundly unqualified” to lead the FBI. His confirmation would be disastrous for public safety. Block it, please.

I’m extremely concerned that Donald Trump eliminated the membership of a key committee that handles aviation security just days before this awful crash in DC. He also enacted a federal hiring freeze, which ended efforts to hire air traffic controllers we desperately need. Trump’s attacks on civil servants and his efforts to dismantle the government are making us less safe. Defunding the FAA will make us less safe. Putting a Fox News host at the top of the Department of Transportation is making us less safe. Blaming DEI for the plane crash is making us less safe. People are starting to die. I want the Congressmember to speak out against Trump’s mismanagement and his dismantling of the federal government. It’s not OK. Thanks.

Now, I wish to add for your consideration the interview this week on Morning Joe of former January 6th prosecutor Alexis Loeb, which interview is posted at 'I have concerns as an American': Fmr. Jan. 6 prosecutor on Trump's sweeping pardons, and Smerconish's interview of Rep. Byron Donalds this morning, which interview is posted at https://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/01/politics/video/smr-rep-byron-donalds-on-trumps-doj-firings
My view is that a high priority, if not the highest priority, of power-crazed, January 6th lawbreaker, 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is to bury the history of his January 6th crimes. That history is an ongoing threat to Trump and his power, and such history must be buried at all costs, regardless of the damage done to the Department of Justice or the FBI. My further view is that Trump, now in a soft-spoken, smooth-talking mode, has many craven minions who have done and will do whatever Trump wants or needs to bury the history of Trump's crimes.
Surely, there is a stand-up Alabama Trumper lawyer who will stand up and say, Rob/Mr. Shattuck, you are wrong, you are so wrong, and here is why.
In my lowly, retired lawyer status, about all I can do is send emails and make a public record of same.
