Subject: How fearful of Trump is the Alabama business community?
To Alabama chambers of commerce and others:
The news story Trump demands 'highly conflicted' Intel CEO resign over China ties prompts me to ask you about how fearful the Alabama business community is of Trump.
As I have previously tried to say to you, my opinion is that Trump's overriding motivation at this juncture in his life is to be, and show to the world that he is, the most powerful and consequential President (for good or bad) in the history of the United States.
For that, I believe Trump is hellbent on mowing down any and all checks and restraints that impede his gaining ever more power in his relentless quest to be the most powerful and consequential United States President ever.
Trump has been incredibly successful towards that end during the past nine months.
A chief tool Trump wields is that of instilling fear in anyone who opposes him or speaks against him.
Such fear is infectious and builds on itself, in that, as some parties succumb to Trump out of fear, other parties are more likely to succumb and do succumb to Trump, and that further grows the fear of Trump.
The fear includes fear of being shunned by other parties with whom one has business (or other) relationships, because one perceives the other parties as being fearful of being associated with someone who speaks against Trump, and for that reason one chooses not to speak against Trump.
Please tell me how pervasive you think fear of Trump is in the Alabama business community as to result in the foregoing phenomenon of people in the community being unwilling to speak up against Trump. (I appreciate that your answering this inquiry is a lose/lose proposition that, if you say people are not fearful, that may encourage people not to be fearful and to speak up, and, if you say people are fearful, that may cause people to decide not to be ruled by fear and to speak up against Trump.)
Thank you.

I think the same question is legitimately posed to the Alabama legal community, and I do so by means of this email.
Please read the below email to Alabama chambers of commerce and tell me how fearful you think the Alabama legal community is of Trump.
