Subject: North Carolina lawyers, Trump and the rule of law
To North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and UNC School of Law student organizations (North Carolina Law Review, the Federalist Society, First Amendment Law Review, and Carolina Public Interest Law Organization):
I am a retired Alabama lawyer who has been unable to budge the Alabama State Bar to speak up publicly about Trump and the rule of law. See Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: The condition of the Department of Justice and its FBI and Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Alabama collaborator lawyers and Alabama resister lawyers.
I don't know the extent to which the North Carolina bar has spoken up publicly regarding Trump and the rule of law.
I hope the North Carolina bar has spoken up publicly regarding Trump and the rule of law.
If it has not, the purpose of this email is to urge such speaking up publicly.
