Subject: Yesterday
Friends,
Yesterday I tried to get Alabama lawyers to rally in support of Danielle Sassoon and other Department of Justice attorneys who resigned in order not to be part of the power-crazed, January 6th lawbreaker, 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, perverting the Department of Justice by having it drop the corruption charges against Eric Adams and get Adams under Trump's thumb. The Final Battle against Donald J. Trump: The January 6th lawbreaker President, day 26.

Subject: DOJ directing SDNY attorney to drop charges against Eric Adams
To: Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee
Yesterday I sent an email to my Alabama lawyer list and a similar email to the Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee, which emails asked the question: "Will or will not the Department of Justice directing the SDNY attorney to drop the charges against Eric Adams (https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/5143787-us-attorney-resigns-adams-case/) cross a red line for Alabama lawyers?"
Later I sent an email to Alabama TV stations that forwarded to them the email I had sent to my Alabama lawyer list, and I coped on my email to the Alabama TV stations those on my Alabama lawyer list. My email to the Alabama TV stations said: "Pardon me, Alabama TV stations, if I try to get Alabama lawyers to rally in support of Danielle Sassoon and other Department of Justice attorneys who resigned, rather than allow the power-crazed, January 6th lawbreaker, 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, to pervert the Department of Justice by having it drop the criminal charges against Eric Adams in order to get Adams under Trump's thumb."
All three emails are posted on The Final Battle against Donald J. Trump: The January 6th lawbreaker President, day 26.
The purpose of this email is to inform the Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee about how I am trying to draw Alabama TV stations into the matter.
Thank you.

After nearly 50 years in practice, I will now join the ABA.
We must speak up against Mr. Trump’s attempts to take power beyond the limits created by our Constitution. His appointment of unqualified loyalists and persecution of potential opponents leave no question as to his intentions.
Even those of us who might agree with reducing the size and expense of our government must draw the line at Mr. Trump’s disregard for the law that creates and limits the power of his office.
We must speak up and remind our elected representatives, Democrat and Republican, that we are watching and we will remember those who placed their careers above their duty to the rule of law and the best interests of our nation.
