Subject: Please add stricter gun laws as subject of targeted emailing
Yesterday's gun violence in New York City prompts me to urge Alabama Trump resistance groups to add guns and the need for stricter gun laws as a subject of targeted emailing in connection with the Aug. 2nd Rage Against The Regime events.
For what it's worth, emailing I have done about this subject is posted at Be An Alabama Rootstriker* with Rob Shattuck: Local authorities for stricter gun laws.
Please contact me if your group is interested in such emailing and if I can be of assistance.
Thank you.

Below is a targeted email I sent yesterday to the Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee related to a program being put on today by the national Speak Up For Justice organization entitled "Judges Break Their Silence - Attacks, Intimidation and Threats to Democracy".
While organized, targeted emailing is running out of time for the Aug. 2nd Rage Against The Regime events, many months lie ahead for Alabama Trump resistance groups to take up such emailing in order to grow Alabama public against Trump. I fervently hope they will do so.
Thank you.

To Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee:
You have given no indication that you will speak up publicly about anything but here goes again anyway.
Tomorrow, the national Speak Up For Justice organization will hold the below program at which U.S. district judges John C. Coughenour, Robert S. Lasnik, and Jack McConnell; incoming President of the Federal Bar Association Karoline Mehalchick; and immediate past president of the American Board of Trial Advocates Andrea La’Verne Edney will be speakers.
In yesterday's segment of Morning Joe that is at Federal judges speak up about growing threats against them, Judge Coughenour spoke about threats against judges, how the rule of law is being challenged by what public officials say about judges, and the importance of the organized bar and lawyers speaking frequently to members of the public about the matter.
Thank you.

To Alabama chambers of commerce and others:
Yesterday, after Trump fired Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner Erika McEntarfer hours after the BLS issued a negative jobs report in the morning, CNBC's Steve Liesman said on air that Trump wants to turn the Bureau of Labor Statistics into state propaganda. The network’s senior economics reporter said Donald Trump wants to turn the Bureau of Labor Statistics into state propaganda.
Does the Alabama business community agree with Steve Liesman that Trump wants to turn the Bureau of Labor Statistics into state propaganda?
Does the Alabama business community agree that the January 6th lawbreaker President Donald J. Trump is power-crazed?
Thank you.

The CBS Paramount matter (The politics behind the $8B Paramount-Skydance merger | PBS News) should be considered for triggering targeted emailing by your group and its members/supporters.
The critical thing in this targeted emailing idea is for Alabama Trump resisters to think for themselves about to whom they desire to send emails and what they desire to say in their emails.
With the CBS Paramount matter, perhaps Alabama TV stations and Alabama journalism and communications professors would be targeted. Other targets may be thought of.
Please may you and interested persons in your group think along the foregoing lines and have discussion among yourselves about what your thoughts are.
I am very interested in what people in your group think and in making such suggestions as I may have.
Please call me as you wish.

The excerpt said "One of America’s premier cyberwarriors, Jen Easterly, who was the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency during the Biden administration, had her appointment to a senior teaching position at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point revoked last week by Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll after Laura Loomer, a far-right conspiracy theorist, posted that Easterly was a Biden-era mole."

Now I have emailed Alabama chambers of commerce about the email I sent to the Alabama State Bar President, Mobile lawyer Frederick G. Helmsing Jr., concerning Trump and the rule of law and the condition of the Department of Justice and the FBI.
My email begged for the chambers of commerce to take an interest in how the Department of Justice and its FBI have been mired in a political maelstrom during the past ten years that has included (i) Hillary Clinton's alleged mishandling of classified information, (ii) Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election, (iii) the Mueller investigation, (iv) Trump asking for Ukraine's help to get "dirt" on Biden, (v) Trump's contention that the 2020 election was rigged, (vi) the criminal indictments of Trump regarding January 6th and classified documents, (vii) Trump's pardoning of January 6th criminals, (viii) the FBI recently commencing criminal investigation of James Comey and John Brennan, and (ix) DNI Tulsi Gabbard referring Obama, Comey, Brennan, and James Clapper to the Department of Justice over a "treasonous" Russia hoax conspiracy.
My email to the chambers of commerce is posted at Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: The condition of the Department of Justice and its FBI.

Subject: Emailing that targets Katie Britt
Suzanne Baker posted yesterday on 50501 Alabama | Facebook, saying:
"I know it's really hot out there, but please join us tomorrow, Wednesday July 30, at noon under the shade tree at the corner of 5th Ave N and 18th St, Vance Federal Building. We continue to protest the cruel "Big Ugly Bill" that Katie Britt is so proud of supporting, i.e., massive redistribution of our wealth, our tax dollars, away from healthcare and food assistance to fund ICE and it's unlawful activities."
Please let me know if your Alabama Trump resistance groups wish to develop emailing that targets Katie Britt and if I can help out.
Thanks.

Subject: Fw: Federal judges speak up about growing threats against them
To Alabama Trump resistance groups:
Below is a targeted email I sent yesterday to the Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee related to a program being put on today by the national Speak Up For Justice organization entitled "Judges Break Their Silence - Attacks, Intimidation and Threats to Democracy".
While organized, targeted emailing is running out of time for the Aug. 2nd Rage Against The Regime events, many months lie ahead for Alabama Trump resistance groups to take up such emailing in order to grow Alabama public against Trump. I fervently hope they will do so.
Thank you.

Subject: Federal judges speak up about growing threats against them
To Alabama State Bar Bench & Bar Relations Committee:
Thank you.

Subject: Steve Liesman on Trump firing of BLS head
Thank you.
