Subject: Subjecting Alabama universities to targeted emailing
To Alabama Trump resistance groups:
The Columbia University settlement with the Trump administration (Columbia settlement concerns mount as McMahon declares ‘template’ for other schools) prompts my today urging you to think about organized, targeted emailing directed at Alabama universities to get them to speak publicly against Trump's wrongful, un-American abuse of his power to bend the country's universities to Trump's will.
Exactly to whom Alabama Trump resisters should send their targeted emails and exactly what the emails should say calls for thoughtful consideration by your groups and needs to take into account what individual email senders are comfortable with sending.
As my previous emails have solicited, please call me if your group has any interest in developing organized, targeted emailing to grow Alabama public opinion against Trump, such as by targeting Alabama's universities.
Thank you.

Jen Easterly
Tom Gordon, a friend on Facebook, posted on Facebook an excerpt from Tom Friedman's New York Times op/ed "The America We Knew Is Rapidly Slipping Away" (op/ed can be read at PressReader.com - Digital Newspaper & Magazine Subscriptions). The excerpt said "One of America’s premier cyberwarriors, Jen Easterly, who was the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency during the Biden administration, had her appointment to a senior teaching position at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point revoked last week by Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll after Laura Loomer, a far-right conspiracy theorist, posted that Easterly was a Biden-era mole."
I replied to Tom saying, "This is something I would definitely include in organized, targeted emailing focused on Alabama universities. Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Subjecting Alabama universities to targeted emailing"

Subject: Smithsonian and GWU- How scared of Trump are Alabama professors?
Dear Alabama universities and professors:
I have previously asked of the Alabama business community and the Alabama legal community about how fearful they are of Trump. Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: How fearful of Trump is the Alabama business community?
Today's news about the Smithsonian and George Washington University (per Trump administration says George Washington University violated law over Jewish students, faculty and Donald Trump seeks to remove 'divisive' Smithsonian materials) prompts me to think about how scared Alabama universities and professors are of Trump.
The reason for the groups and others copied on this email is to try to get them to send their own emails to Alabama universities and professors to stand up against Trump. Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: Subjecting Alabama universities to targeted emailing
Thank you for receiving this email.
