Me: Your most recent post on Facebook got a lot of reaction. I am struggling with email to budge people. Do you have any suggestions?
Other person: I’m sorry I really don’t. I don’t post very often anymore so maybe that’s why? Or maybe I just tapped into something we were all feeling. These are such dark crazy times. There’s so much anxiety out there. Of course not in the bubble where they are high on their own supply.
Me: While I get about zero response to my emails, I send them in the belief that they achieve a momentary registering of something in the heads of the recipients that is desirable.
Other person: We all must do what we can. I admire you.
Me: Thank you, ____. I will let you know if I see effects.
