Subject: How college communities are reacting to funding threats, international student arrests
Dear Ms. Navarro:
This email is prompted by your PBS Newshour appearance this past week How college communities are reacting to funding threats, international student arrests
I am a retired Alabama lawyer.
I believe (i) Trump is increasingly acting unlawfully and corruptly and it is imperative that he be stopped; (ii) if Congress was properly doing its job, Congress would take action to stop Trump's unlawful and corrupt actions: and (iii) there is no sign that Congress will do that, and Trump can be expected to continue in his unlawful and corrupt actions.
In the circumstances, I am proposing that American lawyers engage in work stoppages that will negatively affect the performance of the American economy, with a view to forcing Congress to act to stop Trump's unlawful and corrupt actions.
For more information, please see Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: The January 6th lawbreaker President, day 81 and Citizens Acting to End the Trump Presidency: The January 6th lawbreaker President, day 86.
Sincerely,
Rob Shattuck
