Alabama - DJT is coming to speak as the U of A graduation on May 2nd A man who is attacking universities for doing their jobs, a man who is deporting foreign students and is himself a 34 count convicted felon. If you think this is a BAD look for the University of Alabama please make your feelings known.

At a time when the Trump administration is attempting to dictate policy and priorities at universities, stifle dissent, and lay the groundwork for replacement of our cherished democracy with an autocracy reminiscent of Nazi Germany, I am shocked that the University of Alabama has invited Trump to speak at its commencement ceremony.
As a member if the Alabama State Bar Association, I consider it my duty to speak out against your participation in Trump's attack on our federal Constitution.
I intend to join my fellow citizens in protest on campus on May 1. I hope we will expose you and the University as tools of a repressive regime that has no place in an institution of higher learning.
I demand that you withdraw the invitation immediately and, if not, provide ample security for what will be a well-attended and well-publicized protest.
