Notes of day 91 of the presidency of the power-crazed, January 6th lawbreaker, 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Alabama lawyer Barry Marx announced an initiative on Facebook on April 17th  as follows:

I’m working on a statement to both political parties, the courts, and others, affirming the intention of voters to hold elected officials accountable at the ballot box, and appointed judges and others accountable by recall and impeachment, if they support Trump’s attack on the Constitution and our democracy, including:

*attempting to extort support and abandonment of DEI and itger policies by universities and law firms

*threats against members of the judiciary, who have our full support in their efforts to uphold the law

*refusal to demand and effectuate return of Mr. Garcia & unlawful deportation of citizens and “legal” aliens

* pressuring news sources such as AP to reatrict coverage or show him in a favorable light

* removing senior military officers and replacing them with unqualifies “loyalists

* allowing Musk and DOGE to fire government employees without even attempting to measure the effect on service

*halting essential health research

* wholesale abandonment of foreign aid programs without justification

Barry elaborated on Facebook, saying:

I am looking into third party sites that will allow voting/signatures directly, tabulate results, and make them available. I am considering taking out print ads in major newspapers directing supporters to log onto the site and sign as well as mass emails.
